Our Keynote Speakers - Howard Simms, CEO, Apadmi Ventures

Educated at Leeds and Oxford University, Howard is the CEO of Apadmi Ventures, a formalisation of Apadmi's investment model - to invest and grow highly scalable technology companies. From the BBC iPlayer Radio app to the Guardian Witness, as a Co-Founder and Director at Apadmi (; the UK’s leading mobile developer that ranks within the top 10 mobile developers globally, Howard has overseen the quality and delivery of some of the most iconic and popular mobile solutions of recent times and works with companies such as the BBC, the X Factor, the Guardian, BT, EE, Lexus, Aviva, Range Rover and AstraZeneca to improve and broaden their respective technology portfolios.

Since Apadmi’s formation back in 2009, Howard has been pivotal in driving the company’s growth and has built a team of over 80 talented and proactive technologists across the group. Now focused on investment, the portfolio sees innovative technology being used in a variety of sectors.
