Our Symposium Optogenetics in complex systems will take place as a virtual event on Oct. 26 - 28 2021

CyGenTiG is an international collaborative scientific programme to develop techniques for controlling living cells, including human cells, with light. Compared to drugs or physical interventions, light has huge advantages; it can be shone only when it is needed, it does can be controlled with high accuracy, and it can be switched off the instant its work is done. Although at an early stage, research into light-mediated control of cells, or ‘optogenetics’ as it is called, has the potential to be a major technology in healthcare of the future. https://cygentig.ethz.ch/ As part of this project we bring to you our Symposium entitled &#x27;Optogenetics in complex systems&#x27; will take place as a virtual event on Oct. 26 - 28 2021 - We look forward to welcoming you.
