Birkbeck Gender and Sexuality (BiGS) together with the Palestinian Arts Festival

Film screening:
‘Oriented’ (Dir. Jake Witzenfeld, 2015)

A documentary exploring the lives of three gay Palestinian friends living in Tel Aviv

Followed by a panel discussion on sexuality in the middle east with:

Dr Nour Abu-Assab and Dr Nof Nasser-Eddin (Directors of the Centre for Transnational Development and Collaboration, CTDC); Saleem Haddad (author of Guapa, Europa Editions, 2016).

BiGS provides a forum for innovative interdisciplinary collaboration and exchange in gender and sexuality studies.
