Create Your Own Space: Collage Workshop
Join us for a relaxed, hands-on creative collage session open to everyone!
Inspired by Islington Museum’s current exhibition, "Our Space" (showcasing UCL’s Embodying the Social research project) we are coming together to create collages based on the artworks and themes on display.
Led by local artist Aislington, this workshop dives into the rich history of feminist collage, exploring how activists and artists combine bold images with text to make their voices heard. You will get to experiment with diverse visual storytelling mediums, archival materials and found images, to create your own collage artworks.
This workshop is beginner-friendly. No previous art experience is needed. Everyone is welcome.
