Overview

We return to the popular Willowgate Adventure Centre in Perth for a day of outdoor land and water based activities.

We are delighted to be returning to the Willowgate Centre in Perth for another Adventure Day!

Young people will take part in several outdoor activities and full details of the programme will be released closer to the time with activities running 10-4pm. Activities could include, kayaking or canoeing, archery, bushcraft and axe throwing/combat archery for older children, but no-one will be asked to take part in something they feel uncomfortable with.

This year we have some morning only tickets available too for young people keen to come but for whom the full day might be too long. Their activities will be 10-1pm.

We may not have exclusive use of the site during our visit, but parents are able to watch some of the activities, enjoy some quiet time or hang out in the picnic area and chat to other parents. There is also a nearby cafe - parents have sometimes enjoyed a walk and a cuppa if their child is engaged in an activity and doesn't need their support. Please book an 'Accompanying Adult' ticket for all adults coming along on the day. If you feel your child needs you to take part in the activities with them, we have also set aside a few tickets (Participating Adult) to make that possible.

We are grateful that the day is being partially funded by a Better Breaks grant. To keep the remaining costs as low as possible lunch will not be provided. Please bring with you sufficient juice, snacks and food to last the day.
