<P>As part of LGBT History Month the National Maritime Museum will be hosting the national festival, OUTing the Past, an evening of free talks and conversations by presenters from across the UK. </P>

<P>This year's festival will reveal the unheard and underecognised histories of LGBTQ+ people focussing on the perspectives of marginalised communities.</P>
<P>Our speakers will highlight the intersectionalities between race, gender and sexuality in a variety of presentations covering topics including queer black identity, mental health and female/gay liberation. </P>
