1950 Hollywood B-film “Outrage,” screened with a Q&A
About this event
1950 Hollywood B-film “Outrage,” looks intimately, painfully, and analytically at what we now know to call rape culture. Directed by Ida Lupino who is widely regarded as one of the most prominent, and one of the only, female filmmakers working during the 1950s in the Hollywood studio system.
The film will be followed by a discussion and Q&A with Lizzy Dening a freelance journalist, Co-Vice Chair of Peterborough Rape Crisis Care Group and founder of Survivor Stories.
We will be collecting money for Peterborough Rape Crisis Care Group on the door.
