During Frieze Week, Overlays invites you to reflect on what is carried in materials, how humans inscribe themselves upon landscapes, and how landscapes in turn leave their imprint on us.

Responding through taste and texture, food artist @murder.cake will present ephemeral jelly bites — fleeting, edible overlays that echo the show’s entanglement of body, land and memory.

The show will be open to everyone on Sunday, 19th October, in the gallery space and auditorium at art’otel Hoxton from 12–8 pm. With a ticket, you’ll enjoy jelly bites and one drink included between 4–6 pm.
