Health Innovation North East North Cumbria (HINENC) are running Overprescribing Masterclasses as part of their delivery of the HINENC Regional Overprescribing Programme.
The ‘Application of Deprescribing Tools in Practice’ Overprescribing Focus Masterclass sessions aim to help GPs, Pharmacists and Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) carry out structured medication reviews and stop inappropriate medicines.
This sessions will centre on the application of tools and resources to support medication review and deprescribing using case study examples.
These focus sessions are suitable for all clinicians involved in medication review, regardless of experience. They are a great opportunity to build on knowledge gained by delegates that have already attended the Overprescribing Masterclass sessions although previous attendance is not a compulsory requirement.
The local masterclass sessions will be run by a Lead Senior Advanced Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner an accredited Polypharmacy Action Learning Set trainer.
These sessions are clinician facing and are open to colleagues in the North East and North Cumbria area.
Please note: Numbers of delegates are limited to 25 for this session and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
