With the hustle and bustle of fast paced city life and trying to maintain a healthy balance between the personal and the professional, stress is an endemic feature in our modern culture. So how do we know the signs and moreover, how can we handle it?
This interactive workshop will focus on helping attendees to understand their own mental health and to learn coping strategies that will help managing work, home and life stressors a less overwhelming task!

- Defining characteristics of mental health
- Identifying trigger points e.g. depression, anxiety
- Delving into the 'Stress Container' concept which concerns tools to deal with stress going forward
- Tapping into Greek Philosophical themes around wellbeing
FACILITATOR: Vas Hirani
Vas is an experiened Mental Health First Aid Trainer with a real passion for empowering others to build their own resilience and facilitate healthy self management for overall wellbeing. She works on behalf of Mental Health First Aid England, an accredited training body that teaches people how to comprehend signs and symptoms of their own mental health as well as those around them.
