The Link website is funded by theChildren Learning and Skills Directoratein Slough Borough Council. It is aimed at current and future education professionals in Slough, particularly teachers and early years practitioners.We have a strong and vibrant education system in Slough characterised by good educational outcomes for children and a growing spirit of collegiality andpartnership workingacross schools and between schools and the LA.We hope that the Link will become a powerful tool to strengthen the education system in Slough by supporting the communication of education priorities and facilitating collaboration across schools and settings.  Please visit our website for further information.

This training course meets Ofsted requirements and is a nationally recognised qualification in Paediatric First Aid valid for 3 years.

All places must be booked and a confirmation of your place will be e-mailed upon registration.The training leads to appointed person status, providing information on the essentials of first aid for the care of children and babies including: Anaphylactic shock, burns and scalds, choking, bleeding &amp; resuscitation, head injuries, epilepsy, allergic reaction, poisoning and exposure to cold and heat, asthma attack, meningitis and febrile convulsions.Assessment is undertaken in order to ensure that delegates fully understand the requirements for first aid and are able to carry out protocols in CPR and emergency treatment.Please bring your own lunch for both days. Please note that parking is available onsite. Bookings will close on Friday 2nd October 2020. Please note that the group size has been capped to allow social distancing. PPE will also be provided by the trainer where required.
