Preserve Palestinian culture and experience the power of dance as a form of resistance. Dabke is a Levantine folk dance that has been around for thousands of years. The workshop will be led by Yahya who also dances with Nabad troupe, performing and teaching around the UK. He will tell us about the mutual aid work he does in Gaza to help us understand the current situation there. Bring your friends and make some new ones as we immerse ourselves in this community dance and stomp, step, and spin together.
