<h3></h3><h2>Our panellists:</h2><h3><strong>Rachel Kenyon</strong></h3><h3>Rachel is Business Engagement Manager within the Faculty of Humanities, within the University of Manchester’s specialist Business Engagement &amp; Knowledge Exchange (BEKE) team; she is also the Business Engagement Lead across the University for FinTech, LegalTech, and Digital Trust &amp; Security themes. The BEKE function provides a mechanism for improved information flow between universities and the wider-world, facilitating collaboration with business partners, to inform research and increase economic &amp; societal impacts.</h3><h3>Beyond this Rachel is a Non-executive board director for business networking association Pro Manchester and a keen traveller and running nerd, acting as coach for her running club and as a regular Run Director for a local Parkrun.</h3><h3><strong>Dr Thomas Martin</strong></h3><h3>Dr Martin is a senior lecturer at MMU Department of Computing and Mathematics. He has numerous publications to his name, far too many to mention here and is a regular contributor to various national and international conferences related to information security, cryptography and digital forensics.</h3><h3><strong>Robert Marsh</strong></h3><h3>Robert is extremely passionate about startups and technology and is a BCS outstanding honours prize winner related to AI. He is a lead software developer for an Oil and Gas consultancy firm that has contracts with industry leaders. Currently working on an MBA thesis related to Cryptocurrency Regulations. In his spare time Rob is a miner – that’s Ethereum and Chia.</h3><h3></h3><h3><strong>One other - TBA</strong></h3><h3>Blockchain experience.</h3>

<h2>SYNOPSIS</h2><h3>We are back after many months with our first face-to-face event.</h3><h3> It will be a panel discussion and Q&amp;A on Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain. Whether Bitcoin, Dogecoin, NFTs, Smart contracts or the underlying technology of Blockchain, the aim is to have a discussion on a broad perspective. </h3><h3>Covering not just the technical aspects but also the potential business and societal impact as the technology evolves and inevitably gets adopted by an ever-wider group. Join us.</h3>
