<H3>How designers and organisations can create better products with prototypes tested by real users</H3>
This event is for people that are involved in creating digital products. You can either be searching for the right solution or tool to test your digital product, you might be keen to explore ways to run a Design Sprint more effectively, or just wondering what the fuss is about.
A Design Sprint is a 5-phase exercise which utilises Design Thinking throughout, bringing empathy, creativity and focus to the process of designing products. The Design Sprint will help you make better decisions based on evidence from real users, keeping you aligned with your goals and finding dead ends, helping you invest your time and money wisely.
All of this, and more will be covered by our expert panelists sharing different experiences with you. On our panel we have:

<LI>Michael Dingle, Partner & Co-Founder at Reason. Michael has a passion for designing solutions that are simple and enjoyable to use. He believes that keeping all parties involved throughout the design process and defining a logical and graceful experience framework is paramount to great design. Michael has run Design sprints for Channel 4 and Gap. </LI>
<LI>Kyle Fiedler, Chief Design Officer at thoughtbot. Kyle provides design leadership across thoughtbot's 7 offices and has been designing user interfaces and product experiences for well over a decade. He believes in great design and the philosophy of shipping early and iterating. </LI>
<LI>Melanie Hambarsoomian, Senior Experience Designer at MOO. Mel has worked in a number of companies including Deloitte, Telegraph UK and Virgin Media. She values getting to the heart of the problem, breaking designs down to iterations and design facilitation. </LI>
<LI>Jiri Jerabek, Principal Interaction Designer at Intuit. Jiri’s past experience including leading the UX team behind the Telegraph’s flagship news app and he is an organiser of “The Research Thing”, one of London’s most popular design research meetups. </LI>
<LI>Natalie Smart, Senior User Experience Designer, 7 years experience at BBC. Natalie is motivated by understanding people's needs in order to deliver useful and engaging solutions that meet the objectives of the product and business. </LI>

<LI>Saffad Khan, Product Designer at Deliveroo. Saffad has a customer centred approach to design. His passion is to solve problems through design and research, and build valuable products and experiences. He’s also fascinated by the intersection of design, tech and business.</LI>
</UL>
 
The panel will be moderated by Margaret Gold. Margaret is Science Community Coordinator at the Natural History Museum, in the Biodiversity Informatics team. Previously she worked as Director of the Mobile Collective and ran the mobile developer Over the Air hack day event for 8 years.
As well as the panel discussion, there will be plenty of time to meet and chat with other attendees and the speakers over nutritious refreshments, craft beer and wine.
