FAÇADE ACADEMY of Face Painting & Body Art is proud to present Paradise Jam 2018. This time, our theme is 'Once upon a time…'. Come and paint your own stories and fairytales (happy endings, please!) – and be part of the country's biggest annual face and body painting gathering.

Paradise Jam 2018 will take place on half-term Monday, 12th February. Join hundreds of painters, their friends and families in the big, heated marquee at Paradise Wildlife Park, Broxbourne, Herts.

Adults £12 and children (age 3-15) £6; under 3s free. This ticket price includes admission to Paradise Wildlife Park (normally £18.70/£15.40) You can buy up to 5 tickets.

• Competitions for face painting at junior, novice and open levels, plus freehand glitter art and head-dresses. The young talent was so outstanding in 2017, so there will be a new Generation Games competition in 2018. Prizes include places on Façade Academy courses (facadeacademy.co.uk)
• Demos of techniques by top painters and artists, including airbrush make-up, face painting, body art, prosthetics, balloons, nail art, mehndi henna decoration, pregnant ‘bump’ painting, festival faces and grown-up party eyes
• Stands of merchandise, so painters can stock up on essential paints, glitter, balloons, tables and chairs
• FACE, the International Face Painting Association
• Entertainment for the children
• Giant raffle with fantastic prizes
• A photographer will be making prints on the spot throughout the day
• The public will be visiting from midday for painting (proceeds to Zoological Society of Hertfordshire)

FAQs
• I'm a novice – is this event for me? Can I come by myself?
Definitely! There's no better place to start and if you let us know at the front desk, we'll find you a buddy to show you the ropes and introduce you to other painters. Remember, there's a special Novice competition with a prize of a place on a Façade Academy course.
• What should I bring with me?
Painting kit, table/chair and lunch. There are also fast-food concessions in the wildlife park itself.
• Can I come by train?
Yes, to Broxbourne station, where you will find the Paradise Wildlife Park bus.
• Can I bring children?
Yes, children are especially welcome! There will be entertainment for them in the marquee, and they can take part in some of the competitions. They can also visit the wildlife park, so you might like to buy tickets for grandparents, your partner or other carers who can take them to see the animals while you carry on jamming.
