Overview

Connect with other parents who understand what it's like to parent a neurodivergent child

Parent Support Circle
A supportive space for parents navigating everyday challenges - A number of parents attended last time and we had a wonderful session. Tears and laughter - bring it all!

Parenting can feel complex at times—especially when things don’t seem to respond in the way you expect.

This small, guided group offers a space to pause, reflect, and talk things through with others who understand.

Rather than a formal workshop, this is a facilitated support circle where:
• parents can share experiences (if they want to)
• challenges can be explored in a supportive, constructive way
• practical ideas are introduced where helpful
• each parent can focus on their own situation

Many parents find that having space to think alongside others helps things feel clearer and more manageable.

This space is open to all parents, and may be particularly helpful if your child has additional needs or neurodivergence (diagnosed or not).

Parents often come with experiences such as:
• behaviour or emotional responses that feel difficult to understand
• day-to-day situations that feel more challenging than expected
• routines, transitions, or school-related moments that feel hard to manage
• uncertainty about how best to support their child

The focus is on understanding what may be going on for your child and identifying small, practical ways to support them.

You don’t need to have a diagnosis or a clear plan.
You don’t need to share if you don’t want to.

You’re welcome to come exactly as you are.

What to expect:
• a small group (to allow everyone space)
• a calm, supportive environment
• guided discussion and reflection
• a focus on small, realistic next steps
