﻿When my children were younger I found myself constantly resorting to punishments as a way to manage their behaviour. Time-outs, the &quot;naughty step&quot;, taking away the i-pad..... these were my &quot;tools&quot; of choice. The problem is, I actually hated how punishing my children made me feel. And I knew deep down that it wasn&#x27;t the right thing to do. That it wasn&#x27;t me being the parent I wanted to be. And that it was likely teaching them things that I didn&#x27;t really want for them.I﻿ set about discovering a better way. A more peaceful and connected way. And over time I was able to remove punishments and threats of punishments from our home. It wasn&#x27;t easy at first, but it was worth it. I﻿f you too are tired of using punishments, threats and even rewards or bribes..... if you&#x27;re exhausted from the drama and the negative energy that gets stirred up when you punish your children..... if you end up feeling sad and possibly even ashamed ..... if you have a feeling that punishments don&#x27;t really teach our children anything of value.... if you&#x27;d love to be more peaceful and loving when things get tough......then you&#x27;ll really resonate with this workshop.In it y﻿ou&#x27;ll learn:-﻿ The different ways we punish our children (there are three and you may not be aware of at least one of them).- What&#x27;s the real and very human and well intentioned reason behind our use of punishments?- What our children are learning and internalising through the use of punishments and rewards.-﻿ How can we move to a more connected and peaceful way of dealing with the daily ups and downs of raising children and the challenges that brings.I﻿ can&#x27;t wait to meet you and support you with this.
