PARTNERSHIPS IMPACT 2/3: COLLECTING AND ANALYSING DATA

Wednesday 10 December 2025

16.30 - 17.15

In this webinar, Dr Jen Shearman, Chief Learning Officer at MEI (a charity improving maths education), shares tips on collecting and analysing data simply and easily, in a school setting.

How is it possible to collect data that is useful and meaningful at the end of a rushed partnerships event with students who may be 5 years old or 18, or staff or even parents? And how best to make sense of such data so that we know if it's meeting its aims and can steer the partnership accordingly?

Jen has worked in educational impact evaluation for many years, within schools, universities and national organisations such as NCET and now MEI. She was contracted to advise on the impact evaluation for East Kent Schools Together, a cross-sector partnership of secondary schools, and was lead evaluator for the consortium Planet Possibility.

Jen's presentation of 30 minutes will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions.

The recording of the presentation (not Q&A) will be made available to those registered.
