About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 45 minutes

As part of our regular quilt club, we'll be running one-off themed workshops to learn new sewing skills as we make our quilt - everyone is welcome!

In this workshop we will block out and a hand stitch (or tac!) a short word or initials, which you could use to transform a tote bag or cushion, or use as a wall hanging. No previous sewing knowledge required, and all fabric and notions provided.

Our regular quilt crafting club at Downham Library is creating a collaborative public quilt as part of our 100 years of the Downham estate celebrations. We meet on the first Friday and third Tuesday of the month. Find out more about joining us bi-monthly here - Quilt Club, Downham 100 | Lewisham Libraries.
