Connect and Celebrate your Community with SouthWestFestSouthWestFest is a community festival for south Westminster, showcasing culture, community and heritage through fun activities and engaging events for all ages.Founded in 2008, we are a community led charity and our trustees, staff and volunteers are passionate about promoting and celebrating our incredible and diverse community. We have a long history of working with arts, culture, entertainment, health, education, sports and leisure partners in the south Westminster area.

As part of SouthWestFest join  artist and facilitator Antonia Underwood to create a community patchwork!

Churchill Gardens Square

Join SouthWestFest and theatre maker, poet and facilitator Antonia Underwood for this free drop-in intergenerational workshop bringing together creative writing and crafting! These workshops will focus on exploring your creativity through responding to prompts about home, the future and what that might mean to you.Using recycled materials, you will craft your ideas and dreams for the future. Each individual creation will be stitched together to make one huge community installation patchwork, which will be displayed at the final drop-in workshop, alongside a community meal.Wednesday 10th July | 4.30-6pm | Patchwork ProjectWednesday 17th July | 4.30-6pm | Patchwork ProjectSaturday 20th July | 11am-1pm | Patchwork ProjectSaturday 20th July | 1-2.30pm | Community MealThese workshops are aimed at people aged between 12-17 and 50+, but all are welcome! RSVP to book your spot We have introduced a Pay What You Can scheme, to ensure accessibility whilst covering some of our costs, we hope you understand.
