Overview
The Pathology Study Day will provide a basic understanding of the broad range of services provided within Pathology, highlighting the critical role of Pathology in clinical care pathways, and expand knowledge on emerging technologies and areas of research.
Intended Audience
All users of the Pathology services. The Study Day is open to all health care professionals, whether new to Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, or those wanting a refresher on basic knowledge.
What to expect
- Introduction to Histopathology
- Diagnostic Lymphoma Practice update
- Cell Therapy in Haematology
- Use of Artificial Intelligence and Biomarker Research & Innovation.
- Interactive case sessions.

Please note: one livestream ticket purchase is equivalent to one CPD certificate and the name on the ticket will match the one on the booking registration. Venue Information
The Christie Education Centre is located on the 2nd floor in Dept 17 of the main hospital and can be accessed by stairs or lift. Toilets are also on this floor including an accessible toilet. The auditorium has a hearing loop available and ramp access. A prayer room is available and close by. We want everyone attending our event in person to have the best possible experience.
