Pathways to Progress Launch Event
Learn about our new project supporting young disabled/neurodiverse people to get work ready
At GMYN (Greater Manchester Youth Network) we know that young people can! But too often employers find it hard to understand the best way to support our young people to progress and enter the job market.
That's why we are proud to launch our innovative Pathways to Progress programme generously funded by National Lottery Awards for All and the Beatrice Laing foundation. This helps young people who are disabled/neurodiverse gain skills and experiences to open-up their opportunities – and you can be part of this!
We are hosting an employer networking breakfast to explore how we can create impactful employment and training opportunities for young people across the whole of Greater Manchester.
As well as our insight into developing young people’s skills, building their confidence and preparing them for employment, we’ll address the challenges faced by employers and disabled young people and potential solutions.
Join us to learn about initiatives which will help:
- Diversify your workforce
- Meet your CSR and social value objectives
- Bridge skill gaps
- Support young people with the difficult transition to employment
- Help create a thriving economy in Greater Manchester
