Do you want to improve your pattern cutting/making skills?
This is an opportunity for you to learn the fundamentals of pattern cutting and making including pattern drafting techniques such as dart manipulation, style line, add flair to skirts and yolks. In addition, your fabulous tutor Alison will offer deomonstations covering simple pattern designs.
You will be shown practical skills in this subject and will be introduced to essentials tools of the trade such as pattern masters, awls, pracing wheels and how to correctly utilise notches.
You will also be shown how to make adjustments for a better fit on sewing patterns and how to do some basic pattern adjustments on the design.
This workshop is only suitable for adults 18+
Please note - you must have some dressmaking experience to attend this workshop (it is not suitable for beginners as you will build on previous knowledge). Get in touch if you need any further information regarding this.
