About this event

Welcome to the Pause Art Workshop – Create Your Own Calm Box (Ages 5-12)

Join us on Saturday 12th July 2025, 10:45am-12pm at Pause's Digbeth Hub. Join us for a fun and creative workshop where you'll create your own calm box and begin to think about filling this with items that will help you to feel relaxed and grounded.

The session will start off with an icebreaker or introduction. You will be encouraged to let your creativity flow and think of different emotions that we all experience. You will be able to take away your calm box to add to and use. No artistic experience is needed, just come ready to have an enjoyable time! See you there!

Due to health and safety, a parent/carer will need to be present in the workshop space.

Please note that to take part in the workshops, children attending need to be registered with a Birmingham GP and registered with Pause.

Once you have booked, please register with Pause using the link below - tickets will be available to book 1-2 weeks before. You will not need to register if you have been to Pause before for a session/workshop or are already registered.

Pause is an Emotional Health and Wellbeing service for children and young people up to 25 years old. We run brief drop-in sessions (no referrals, assessments or bookings required!) to help children and young people express their feelings in a safe space and empower them by encouraging them to take ownership of their wellbeing and learn skills and strategies they can use independently to support this. Alongside this, we run a range of workshops to bring like-minded people together, teach them useful strategies and skills for wellbeing and show them what Pause is about!
