Free Virtual Professional Development Training for Teachers.

<p>The outbreak of Coronavirus has caused major disruptions to the education of young people everywhere. To compensate, teachers faced the major challenge of quickly getting up to speed with the skills necessary to teach and support their students at a distance.
</p><p>
Of course the lockdown and social distancing strategies deployed by governments also challenged how teachers could rapidly acquire such skills, and so Tablet Academy have stepped up to the plate, and, with the support from our friends at Microsoft, will be running a series of 42 free events, in English, Dutch, French and German.</p>

<h3>How to join an interactive workshop</h3><p>this session will be delivered remotely, we are providing you with an O365 account to use for the workshop.  The meeting will be held in Microsoft Teams and can be joined by logging in to your workshop account.  Full support for joining can be found here: Virtual PD Series: Joining Information for Interactive Workshops It is essential that you follow the guidance on logging in using an in-private/incognito browser window, to prevent this account from clashing with your own work or personal Microsoft accounts.</p><p>Your account details will be sent up to 12 hour prior to you event starts, if you feel you have not received you account details on the day of the event, please check you junk/spam folder. </p>

<h3>In this event we will be covering;</h3><ul><li>In this practical workshop you will have the opportunity to explore how tools such as OneNote and Forms can be applied specifically to support students learning Maths, both in a remote learning scenario or classroom-based lesson.</li></ul>
