Peer Advisory Programme

Online event
Overview

Work through real business challenges with leaders who understand what it’s like to grow and lead a business.

You must be based in Oxfordshire and have completed Enterprise Oxfordshire’s Business Support Tool since the 1st of November 2025 to attend this event. If you purchase a ticket without completing this, your ticket will be cancelled. Business Support Tool - Enterprise Oxfordshire Business

The group meets fortnightly 8:00am - 10:00am on Zoom - 06 Jan, 20 Jan, 3 Feb, 17 Feb.

As your business grows, the challenges change. You may be trying to create more capacity, build a stronger team, improve accountability, make difficult commercial decisions or simply find a way to spend less time firefighting and more time focused on growth.

The Peer Advisory Programme brings together a small group of Oxfordshire founders, CEOs, Managing Directors and senior leaders to share challenges, test ideas and learn from each other's experience.

Delivered through a series of facilitated online sessions, the agenda is set by the group - not by us. Each session gives participants the opportunity to bring a live business issue or challenge to the table, followed by structured discussion, challenge and practical input from their peers.

Topics might include:

  • “Why does everything still come back to me?”
  • Delegating without losing control
  • Helping teams take greater ownership and accountability
  • Making difficult growth or investment decisions
  • Building a stronger and more predictable sales pipeline
  • Managing people, capacity and operational pressures
  • Deciding what to prioritise - and what to stop doing
  • Creating more time to focus on the future of the business

By taking part, you will:

  • Work through real business challenges and identify practical next steps
  • Gain fresh perspectives from leaders facing similar opportunities and pressures
  • Build greater accountability around the changes you want to make
  • Create more capacity to focus on growth and higher-value leadership activity
  • Build a trusted network of Oxfordshire business leaders you can continue to draw on

Who should attend?

The programme is designed for Oxfordshire-based businesses with a minimum of 3FTE:

  • Founders, Managing Directors and CEOs
  • Senior leaders in growing businesses
  • Business owners who feel involved in too many day-to-day decisions
  • Leaders looking to create more capacity and focus on the next stage of growth

You don't need to have all the answers. The value comes from being prepared to share what you're working through, listen to other perspectives and contribute your own experience to help others.

What previous participants say

“It is a really nice surprise when you raise a problem which you think is unique to your business but then find out others have the same or similar ones. Even if they have not had similar experiences, the feedback and suggested solutions are often not what you would have expected or even thought about but still highly relevant and useful. Peer 2 Peer is an invaluable opportunity to experience and benefit from this.”
