About this event

How do we support each other in ways that aren't extractive, transactional or de-skilling? How do we create spaces to support each other’s mental health within our communities? How do we lean on each other even when there's risk involved?

A short introduction to Peer Support values - how to support each others' mental health as part of a community of support.

This short interactive session will talk through themes around mental health, wellbeing, activist burnout and solidarity. This will be led by facilitators Karen Machin (survivor researcher) and Grace Collins (artist) who will share organising techniques to take back to your own groups and networks, with an introduction to other spaces we facilitate.
