Now planning Issue 21, Madeleine White, Editor of Write On! Magazine, invites you to join this session, an introduction for anyone interested in participating and contributing to Write On! Extra or Write On! Magazine process.

Write On! Magazine, first published in June 2019, is a quarterly magazine published by Pen to Print, encouraging writers from all backgrounds, to contribute and share skills through our creative writing publication.

In March 2020, COVID-19 moved us all into completely unknown territory and we launched Write On! Extra: posts for unprecedented times. Our online work has seen over 10,000 engaging as readers and contributors, from the UK, but also 175 other countries.

We are in partnership with self published writers, traditionally published authors and industry experts, bringing the best advice, views and contributions to the creative writing world.

If you are unable to join the session, take a look at Write On! Magazine online and feel free to send your submissions via our website: pentoprint.org/get-involved/submit-to-write-on

If you have any accessibility requirements, please directly get in touch with us at pentoprint@lbbd.gov.uk

We identify local writing talent and provide them with opportunities to produce quality writing for publication.

We publish our own suite of publications, Write On! our free quarterly print magazine, alongside Write On! Extra online and our Write On! Audio podcast

In addition to our main competition The Book Challenge we offer other free writing competitions, author events classes, workshops and other activity supported by established creative writing experts, authors and artists.

Our events are free and open to everyone and are designed to inspire and encourage writers, as well as providing entertainment to the wider reading public.
