If you are a beginner to writing and would like to learn how to write that book you always knew was inside you, or a more experienced writer who wants to reacquaint yourself with the fundamentals of writing, this is for you.

Over eleven two-hour monthly sessions, our tutor will take you through every aspect of creative writing - from structure to dialogue, description, point of view and everything in between - all the way through to writing a synopsis and the process of submission.

If you are no longer able to attend a Pen to Print online event or have found yourself booking more than once for the same event - please use the ‘cancel my ticket’ option instead of ‘request a refund’ before the event is due. By doing so, an automatic refund will apply.

Please note there is a supporting Google Classroom for this course and the direct link to join can be found in confirmation email under the Additional information section.

We identify local writing talent and provide them with opportunities to produce quality writing for publication.

We publish our own suite of publications, Write On! our free quarterly print magazine, alongside Write On! Extra online and our Write On! Audio podcast

In addition to our main competition The Book Challenge we offer other free writing competitions, author events classes, workshops and other activity supported by established creative writing experts, authors and artists.

Our events are free and open to everyone and are designed to inspire and encourage writers, as well as providing entertainment to the wider reading public.
