People Analytics is one of the most practical tools for HR professionals, with great potential to have a positive impact within organisations. By identifying the real drivers of workforce behavior and performance, HR professionals can make more effective strategic decisions about the workforce challenges they face. A recent report by Deloitte Human Capital Trends found that 71% of companies view people analytics as “an urgent priority”, but disturbingly only 22% have analytics capability. Delegates will:- Develop an understanding of the key concepts of people analytics and where it can help the business in areas such as diversity and inclusion, employee performance, recruitment and selection, talent management, turnover and retention, employee engagement and employer branding.- learn how the use of people analytics can reduce bias in organisational decision making by basing decisions about people on evidence rather than feelings or gut instinct- identify the data sources their own organisations already have, or may be able to access in the future, to help develop a culture of rational people decision-making that is informed by data and evidence- learn to view business problems objectively by working through real case study examples of people analytics at work- come away with an understanding of the big picture and an action plan to help move people analytics forward in your organisation by understanding how data can help to tell the story.- receive a complementary copy of Predictive HR Analytics: mastering the HR metric 2nd Edition (retail cost £34.99) and access to online resources to continue their learning through practical guidance after the course has finished.We also spend time with delegates to identify potential quick wins using people analytics within their own organisations. She is also Head of Analytics at Empathix and has over 20 years broad international experience in analytics, HR and Management Consulting in organisations including IBM, RBS, Capgemini and Pearn Kandola. Kirsten has a degree in Mathematics and Statistics, a Masters degree in Human Resource Management and Organisational Analysis and a Certificate in Higher Education and Academic Practice.
