Event description

Description

Hosted by animation studio (and Colonnade House residents) Persistent Peril, Animated Existentialism v2.0 is a night of contemporary animated short films. From Oscar nominated Don Hertzfeldt, Bafta winning Will Anderson, SXSW winning Nicolas Menard and many more. Across 70+ minutes the 12 shorts will explore everything from high concept existentialism, human idiosyncrasies, Donkey balloons and teddybears taking over Worthing seafront. You won’t find that sort of range in the whole of the Marvel Cinematic Universe or in the Mouse House.

Age: 15+

More about Persistent Peril:

Animation with Character.

Set up in 2011 by husband and wife duo, Garth and Ginny Jones alongside producer Sam Bourner, Persistent Peril is a boutique animation studio.

"We specialise in 2D character animation for a diverse range of linear projects, including commercials, music videos, corporate films and festival events.

From timed out storyboard animatics, to bespoke ‘design for purpose’ illustrations, the studio’s hand crafted 2D digital animation utilises traditional skills and values at every turn. Each project we take on is carefully crafted in house, to create work our studio and clients can be proud of."
