Personal Tutoring - Introduction Workshop

Please note that these sessions are free of charge for UWL staff and partners ONLY. External staff will pay a fee to attend the events.UWL has set up a programme of Continuous Professional Development for all staff delivered by the following departments:CELTQuality OfficeAcademic RegistryLibrary ServicesHuman ResourcesGraduate SchoolITStudent ServicesPlease register on Eventbrite to ensure your place; if the course you are looking is not listed please contact the department directly or email UWL-CPD@uwl.ac.ukPlease note: Events may be cancelled or postponed if a minimum of 5 delegates, depending on the type of workshop, are not registered, as numbers of delegates below this can make discussions and group work very difficult and resource intensive. Decisions to cancel will be taken well in advance of the event is due to take place.If you are unable to attend, please ensure you cancel at least one week before the event as this can affect decisions regarding cancelation.

Continuous Professional Development at the UWL

<p>This workshop is an introduction to personal tutoring at UWL. It covers the purpose and benefits of personal tutoring; provides an overview of the resources available to support you in your role and includes a discussion of the Cause for Concern policy. It is mandatory for all new personal tutors and recommended for experienced personal tutors as a refresher.</p>
