In this lunchtime session, Nadine, Holly and Allysa will discuss their own research, which examines Instagram, TikTok and forums. We’d love to hear about your work too, so come prepared to have a chat about your work and how you’re getting on. This session will also offer you the chance to tell us what you would like out of a social media methods network.

The aim of this Methods North West lunchtime seminar is to help bring together social media methods researchers and analysts of digital culture to design and hold an event for PGRs in the Northwest region.

Our goals for that event are to:

• discuss the challenges and opportunities for social media and online research;
• share work and experiences;
• network and meet like minded PGRs;
• collaborate and build a community.
