Aigburth train station

This is the PGR Development Network's first ever Walk &amp; Connect! This is a chance to get away from your desk, have a pleasant stroll, and meet other PGRs! We will be walking along Otterspool Promenade, which runs along the bank of the River Mersey. Our starting point is Aigburth train station (easily accessible by public transport), and our destination is the Docks, making for an approximately 7.5km / 1hr45min perambulation. For those who want to skip the walk but still want some talk, we will be finishing at the Brasco Lounge, so feel free to join us there afterwards. All PGRs welcome!

Additional detailsStart point: Aigburth train station.End point: Brasco Lounge at the Docks.Distance: 7.5km (approximately).Time: 1hr45mins (approximately).Transport: For those coming on public transport, there are trains from Liverpool Central to Aigburth every 15 minutes (suggested train for attendees is the 09:58 from Liverpool Central, take the Ormskirk to Hunts Cross service).Other information: We will aim to be at the Brasco Lounge around 12:00, in case anyone wants to skip the walk and meet us directly there.Safety considerations: This is a gentle walk along a paved promenade. But remember to wear suitable walking footwear and bring water!

This IN PERSON session is available to PGRs from the University of Liverpool. When registering for this event, please ensure you use your University email address as non-University email registrations will be removed due to capacity restrictions.
