No, this package is open to all applicants. It will teach you right from the very beginning of phlebotomy in our Introduction to Phlebotomy course up until the point of live blood collection.

Question 3

Will I be qualified to draw live blood after the package?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on consenting adults, as long as it is in line with your company's protocols and procedures. You will gain a Level 3 and Level 4 nationally recognised qualification, accredited by the Open College Network and CPD Certification Service.

Can I take the package online?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the Virtual Classroom option includes a FREE Practise@Home Phlebotomy Training Kit (worth £79.95) so you can complete practical training from anywhere. You will need a device with a camera and a microphone to complete it via a Zoom session with a tutor.

How long is the package?

There will be 6-8 hours worth of theory to complete online for each course, in your own time, and a day of practical training via a Zoom session with a tutor from 9:30-20:30. The first session will be from 9:30-17:00 and the second session will be 17:00-20:30 with breaks.

Can I apply to work in the NHS after this package?

Accepted Answer

Yes - the NHS offer a Trainee Phlebotomist role (Pay Band 2) that would help you to gain further experience in the field.

Question 7

Do you offer payment plans?

Accepted Answer

Yes — you can secure your place with a deposit and pay the balance in instalments. The full amount must be paid at least 5 working days before the course date. We also offer Klarna when booking online.

Question 8

When will I receive my certificates?

Accepted Answer

Digital certificates are issued within 7–14 working days after the course on your learning platform. Printed copies are available for an additional fee.
