What makes a great photo? This practical course focuses on the premise of you, the photographer making great photos, rather than the camera itself.

Using the mobile phone in your pocket, this course is aimed for beginners who would like to improve their picture taking. Through weekly sessions, introductions to visual, creative, and observational skills, as well as how to develop your creativity with your photography are explored in a fun, relaxed and supportive learning environment.

Participants will need to bring their own mobile phone camera.

• Visual skills (such as exploring visual elements) 

• Creative skills

• Observational skills

By the end of the course you will have experienced a range of creative approaches and ideas to capturing images and improving your own photography with your mobile phone.

Eligibility criteria:

For those over 19 years old.

Good level of spoken English.
