Physiotherapy Practice Educator Update (online)

This Update session is a required two year refresher for Physiotherapy Practice Educators who support SHU students on placement.

Who should attend the update session?

This two hours Update session is for Physiotherapy Practice Educators who need to complete the required two yearly Update session to continue to meet the requirements of their practice educator qualification.

The Update session is aimed at practising Physiotherapy Practice Educators registered with the HCPC and working within NHS Trusts, or organisations from the private/voluntary sectors. The Physiotherapy Practice Educators will be working with physiotherapy students on their practice learning experience placement from Sheffield Hallam University.

Please ensure that your Team Manager is aware that you will be attending this Update session.

How the update sessions will be delivered

The Physiotherapy Academic Team no longer offer a hybrid method of delivery. Therefore, you will attend either in person or online dependent on the arrangements for your chosen date. Online sessions will be delivered via MS Teams.

If you will be attending an Update via a webinar and at your place of work, please try to find a quiet space and use headphones so you can concentrate without any disturbances.

Attendance Certificate

You can receive a certificate of attendance shortly after the completion of your Update session, this is for your records, and for your Team Manager, as evidence of your CPD and continuing status as a Practice Educator.
