How do I apply to be on Programme?

You can express your interest here: https://forms.gle/zSJpV9jS47Nig7VR7  In May 2026, we will send everyone who has expressed an interest a list of possible panels. We also welcome offers of workshops and talks.

Dealers:

We have ten Dealer Spaces. Dealers should purchase a membership *and* a Dealer table ticket.

Accessibility:

The convention is on the ground floor of the hotel which has step free access. We have microphones for the convention and will produce a large print programme. If you need to be collected from one of the stations, please let us know.

Food and Drink:

The hotel has a bar with very good bar food. We will also make cheap sandwiches and soup available in a convention room. The hotel is in the centre of town, and there are bakeries, cafes and a supermarket nearbye.

Transport:

There are trains to Perth from Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh and London. From the station it is a 0.5 miles/13 minute walk or 4 minute taxi ride. There are also buses. Car parking is at the South Inch Car Park, free after 6pm.

Where to stay?

The three big hotels are the Salutation, the George and the Premier Inn. The Salutation is offering 15% off the Friday night if you mention our name when booking. There are a large number of B&Bs: look for Strathmore Road & Pitcullen Crescent on the map for B&Bs just over the river.

Tickets are £30 standard; £20 Concession; £10 for children.

Childcare

We don't have the resources to run a creche, but children are welcome and we can find space for a table with craft material. If you want we can also find a DBS checked babysitter to take a child or children to the cinema that afternoon. To register your child, please buy them a ticket.

Dogs!

The hotel allows dogs in reception and the venue, but not the bar area. However, one of the organisers is happy to arrange group dog care for a total of five dogs. Please purchase your dog a dog ticket.
