Pictfor is hosting a Summer Reception to introduce our All-Party Parliamentary Group.

Members, Parliamentarians and potential future members are invited to apply to attend. Please also pass the invitation along to new and young employees - with a particular emphasis on young people and those new to the tech and political sectors who may not have engaged with us before.

This event will introduce Pictfor to a wider network, engage young people working in tech and policy, while also exploring the future of tech.

This interactive, interview-style panel event will discuss:

  • What skills do the next generation working in tech need to excel?

  • How will Generation Z shape technology?

The Parliamentary Internet, Communications and Technology Forum (PICTFOR) is the All-Party Parliamentary Group in the Houses of Parliament for the technology sector.

 

As an All-Party Parliamentary Group, operating under official APPG rules, our membership comprises parliamentarians from both Houses, consumer groups, academic institutions and technology companies. The Group’s purpose is to further understanding of policy issues affecting the Internet, Communications and Technology sector between parliamentarians, the industry, consumer groups and academia. PICTFOR’s origins started over 30 years ago as the Parliamentary Information Technology Committee (PITCOM).
