<h2>What is Pitch It?</h2>Pitch it is designed to give additional help and support to SMEs with a training day followed by the opportunity to pitch in front of investors as well as being in with the chance to win from our business resource prize pool worth 10k.<h2>What can you expect from Pitch It?</h2><ul><li>Full day of training with a pitch deck expert</li><li>Provision with building a captivating and persuasive pitch deck</li><li>Networking with other SME’s and investors</li><li>Investment opportunities </li><li>Chance to win from our prize pool worth 10K</li></ul>Training day (22/05/21) 9:00-18:008 hour training day lead by pitching expert Zulfikar Ali. Training will cover:<ul><li>Problem</li><li>Vision</li><li>Unique value proposition</li><li>Traction/milestone</li><li>Market size</li><li>Competition</li><li>Team</li><li>Ask</li></ul>Over the following week all 20 businesses will use their training to improve on their pitch deck ready for Pitch Day.Pitch day (29/05/21) 9:00-15:00You will be pitching your ideas as well as gaining more training with our workshop ran by HSBC, receiving feedback, networking and also being in with the chance to win from our prize pool. All 20 businesses will get the opportunity to deliver their 5-minute pitch to investors followed by a 2-minute Q&A. <h2>Who can apply?</h2><ul><li>A <a href="https://ec.europa.eu/growth/smes/sme-definition_en" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Small Medium size Enterprise </a> (SME)</li><li>Business must be looking to raise minimum of £200k.</li><li>Needs be a limited company .</li><li>Must be trading for a minimum of 1 year. </li></ul><h2>How do i apply?</h2>Please fill out the form when registered for this event, the first 20 businesses to apply will get a space. Refund Policy: Only the ticket price will be refunded as long as you submit a request 7 days prior to the event. Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable, so they won't be returned to the ticket buyer unless the event is cancelled, or if the buyer requests a refund for a duplicate charge within 7 days of purchase. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.<h2>COVID-19 guidance</h2>The event will run based on the latest <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-organised-events-guidance-for-local-authorities/coronavirus-covid-19-organised-events-guidance-for-local-authorities" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">COVID-19 guidelines. </a>Please ensure if you have symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has been tested positive then stay at home. Wearing masks will be required during the event unless evidence is provided of exemption. You will also be required to keep a 2-metre distance. Due to COVID-19 we want to keep numbers small so we are allowing 1 person per business Do I need to print a ticket off? You don’t need to print anything off, just have your confirmation email ready upon arrivalDo I need to bring anything with me? Feel free to bring whatever you feel is necessary but we will provide you with everything you need. We will also supply you with refreshments on the day. Where can I park? The car park is at the rear of the Broadway Residences building, B16 8HH. You can access via Ladywood Middleway, enter onto Friston Avenue, take a right on to Ruston Street and finally take a right to enter the multi-story car park. Drive up to level 4 and you will see purple pillars &amp; our signage.
