A trouble-shooting workshop to help you develop your skills in writing SPOTSS Sensory Support Plans for children in your setting.
Join us at this post-training workshops to support you with the process of writing a Sensory Support Plan for a child.
The workshop is open to anyone who has:
- Completed our 1 day Universal training
- Is a primary school SENCo, or is the nominated person for writing a child's Sensory Support Plan.
- Is working in a mainstream primary school in Cheshire East or Cheshire West and Chester Local Authority areas
- Has made a start with writing an SSP, but is now "stuck" or needs more ideas for strategies to include in the plan.
The workshop will help attendees to embed the plan writing process by working through the stages of a plan for a child known to them. The workshop will help them to identify what they need to do next to ensure an appropriate and effective plan is in place.
A maximum of 8 attendees per workshop.
All children will be discussed annonymously to maintain confidentiality.
Workshops will run regularly, and should be your first point of contact when seeking guidance with sensory support plan writing.
Remember our weekly information line is also available for any quick queries related to the SPOTSS service offer.
