The Mills Fabrica's innovation gallery and concept store, Fabrica X, presents its latest exhibition - 'Planet Saving Innovations'. The exhibition's grand opening is the 13th May and will run until 30th September, 2024.

Our planet is headed towards a tipping point of irreversible destabilisation, spearheaded by human activity. Informed by the Planetary Boundaries, a framework which defines the safe operating space for humanity within the Earth’s natural systems, 'Planet Saving Innovations' showcases and celebrates the leading innovations within fashion and textiles. At this exhibition you will learn about the Planetary Boundaries and how the innovators are addressing our planet’s six greatest ecological priorities:
- Climate change
- Water
- Land-use
- Chemicals
- Waste
- Microplastics
‘Planet Saving Innovations’ illuminates the path forward, showcasing the innovations catalysing change within the fashion and textile industries, ultimately supporting our planet’s resiliency and securing a just and sustainable earth system for humanity to thrive in the future.
