Plants in Practice is a new evening talks series for this summer exploring how artists, makers and researchers are working with plants as inspiration, material, subject and collaborator. Bringing together practitioners working across photography, biomaterials, sculpture, environmental practice and storytelling, the series considers how creative work can emerge through close engagement with the natural world. Rooted in Herefordshire’s rich rural landscape, the programme explores sustainability, ecology, making and material experimentation through a range of contemporary creative practices.
