Play Southend Now or Never

Play the City Now or Never! is a two-year collaborative project between artists Helen Stratford and Idit Nathan working with METAL to develop an App for mobile devices that will enable audiences to engage in a self-directed live art event/walk exploring two different urban environments. The App will be developed through in-depth public participatory walks programs in Peterborough and Southend and to be launched at Peterborough Festival (2015( and Village Green in Southend (2016).

Play the City Now or Never in collaboration with METAL Southend

Join Idit and Helen in exploring Chalkwell Park, discovering playful ways to interact and share your stories about the area, as we work on Play Southend - the App, which will be launched at VIllage Green on the 9th July 2016. 
The walk is free, will be fun and inspiring. We will start from Chalkwell Hall and return there for light refreshments.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Under 14 years old should be accompanied by an adult. We welcome people of all ages 
 
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Please come with comfortable clothing and footwear and we'll provide the rest (inlcuding light refreshments at the end)
