An Introduction to Playback Theatre method and it's underlying principles. The emphasis is on play to free up creative aliveness.
We are offering an Introduction to Playback Theatre method and it's underlying principles. The emphasis is on play to free up creative aliveness.
We will use theatre games and exercises to open our voices and bodies to create a strong group connectedness and to learn to trust our spontaneous and creative impulses both individually and as a group.
The raw material for Playback Theatre are the feelings, experiences and stories of our own lives. We will learn how to shape our stories and give them life on stage. We offer a safe and supportive atmosphere for you to take risks and step into new territory.
This course is suitable both for beginners and those with theatre experience - all are welcome over 18 years.
Playback Theatre is …
Improvised interactive theatre where personal stories, memories and experiences are given artistic expression.
Created through a unique collaboration between performances and audience members, who are invited to share stories from their lives and witness them enacted on the spot.
