Following last year's amazing event, we are once again hosting 'Played in Brunel' - an evening of music from Brunel Alumni at the iconic Half Moon Pub in Putney on Thursday 17 October - doors will open from 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.

Celebrate the sounds of Brunel by joining us in support of our amazing students and alumni at this event. We’ll be showcasing recent graduate artists and providing the opportunity to reunite with old friends, connect with fellow Music alumni and make professional contacts in the music industry and beyond. You’ll also be able to catch up with many of our Music tutors, both old and new, who will also be attending.

The Half Moon in Putney has been hosting live music since the early 1960's and our Brunel musicians will take to the stage where some of the biggest names in popular music have performed! The Rolling Stones hired the venue for a private show in 2000, Kasabian literally blew the roof off in 2006 and an unknown Ed Sheeran supported a sold out show here! Kate Bush also had her first live show here, Elvis Costello enjoyed a residency that earned him a plate of sarnies and 50p per gig while Bo Diddley playing here en-route to Wembley in 1981.

How do I get there?

The closest tube station to the venue is Putney Bridge on the District Line (this is not a step-free station) and is 965m away. The closest rail station to the venue is Putney (South Western Railway) and serves trains on the Waterloo line (this is a step-free station), this station is 950m away.

Is parking available?

There is no car park at The Half Moon but there is plenty of on-street parking available (please check for any individual restrictions before parking in these areas). Blue Badge holders can use all permit and pay and display parking bays in Wandsworth borough. There is a disabled parking bay on Lacy Road (400m).

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

All attendees and guests should be 18+

What ticket types are available?

Tickets for Brunel Alumni, Guests and Current Students are available - please select the relevant ticket type when making your booking.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes - please use the ‘Brunel Guest’ ticket to make a booking for any guests you’d like to bring along.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes please - this would be helpful on the evening for getting you checked in quickly.

Is the venue accessible for wheelchair users?

The pub, venue and garden are fully accessible for wheelchair users. A fully accessible toilet is also available. If you require assisted entry please contact the venue directly.
