An 'in the moment' workshop for all creative disciplines with Box of Tricks' Associates Lee Affen, David Judge & Jenni Jackson

Creatives of all disciplines, this is a jam. Lee Affen (AffenAudio), David Judge and Jenni Jackson hold the space for practicing artists of all disciplines to come together and explore the magic of collaboration.A workshop exploring creativity, this is a space for musicians, writers, visual artists, dancers…everyone, to create unique and ‘in the moment’ connections.This is a night with ambiguity, play and surprise at its heart and your involvement will make this workshop fly. So, bring your scratchy ideas and an open mind and let’s create chaos and beauty together.Lee Affen is a multi-instrumentalist composer, music producer and sound designer from Manchester now based in Sheffield. His passion for music and collaboration has led him to work in bands, write for singers and compose for theatre, dance and film. Lee is also a company member of The Bare Project and an Associate artist with Imagine If Theatre.David Judge is a playwright, performance poet and actor. His most recent play SPARKPLUG, which David wrote and performed, toured the UK in Spring 2019 and was shown on Sky Arts in May 2021. David has written a new play, CHATBACK, for the National Theatre Connections programme, and he is working with Sky Studios on an in-house tv drama series developed by and for new writers with producer Vicky Wharton. David has written his first episode of CORONATION STREET which was broadcast in June 2021. His first play SKIPPING ROPE was shortlisted for the Alfred Fagan Award and PANLID was commissioned by Talawa and the Royal Exchange.Doors and bar open at 6pm. Food available (TBC).
