About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

Playwright has become one of the main tools for testing web applications. In this workshop, we'll learn how we can use it to automate and test web UI.

We'll see how to set up, write, run and debug Playwright tests. We'll go over locators and expectations, the building blocks of Playwright, and also talk about the async aspect of the operations.

The exercises will be in Python. Attendees will download the exercise from GitHub before the session start.

Frequently asked questions

How practical is the workshop?

Very. You'll download an exercise solution before hand, and use it to write the tests. You'll automate different tests during the workshop, so you'll be ready to do that at work.

What langauge is the workshop in?

English. And Python.

Do I need to know anything on automation beforehand?

No. But if you're familiar with other frameworks, it's a plus.
