Harrow Nature Heroesis an amazing activity and reward club that holds fascinating and fun nature and wildlife logged sessions acrossHarrow Parksand stunning nature reserves!We provide fun, first-hand experiences for children and adults to learn all about the local animals and plant life. Roxeth Recreation Ground

Event Description: This fun event is designed to give children an opportunity to engage with nature first hand and begin to understand its wonders, intricacies and interconnectedness. We will have a story, make a crafty bee, look at all the different types of bees buzzing in the park and find out how you can help them at home. Designed for nature lovers aged 3 to 8 years with their accompanying adult.Join the Summer Reading Challenge at Roxeth Library (or your local branch elsewhere in Harrow). Become a Wild World Hero by reading six books through the summer holidays and receive a special certificate and medal. How to get there and Parking There is a small car park at the end of Pitcairn's Path HA2 8LE. Pitcairn's Path is an extension of Eastcote Road. Parking is limited so we recommend you walk or come by bike. The nearest Station is South Harrow Station and there are plenty of busses which stop at South Harrow, Stop D including H12, H9,140 and the 114.We are Covid aware and will be taking precautions to minimise any risk. We ask you to bring a rug or mat to sit on. Even though restrictions have been lifted, please look after yourselves and, where possible, stay 2m apart and remain sensitive to the needs of others who may be more vulnerable. As we are outdoors we do not need to wear a mask but feel free to wear one if this will make you feel safe.Please bring: <ul><li>A rug or mat to sit on.</li><li>Warm and waterproof clothes, we will be outdoors for the whole session</li><li>Sturdy shoes or boots as the ground can get muddy and be uneven</li><li>Your Harrow Nature Heroes logbook (if you have one)</li><li>please wear long sleeves and trousers.</li></ul>Please be aware that there are no toilets in the park.Accessibility.The park is accessible to all and our event is inclusive.
