Overview

Get ready to connect with fellow PMDD warriors and share experiences at PMDD NORTHWEST, a supportive gathering you won't want to miss!

PMDD Northwest – First Group Meeting

This first PMDD Northwest group meeting is an exploratory, listening-focused session rather than an official service launch.

The purpose of this meeting is to hear directly from women with lived experience of PMDD — to understand what you need, what’s missing, and what you would genuinely want from a PMDD-focused service in the North West. Your voices will help shape what PMDD Northwest becomes.

Alongside information gathering and informal market research, this meeting is also about connection. PMDD can be isolating, misunderstood, and exhausting to navigate alone. This space is intended to offer the chance to meet other women who get it, share experiences (if you want to), and feel heard, supported, and validated.

There is no pressure to speak, share personal details, or have answers. Listening is just as welcome as talking.

This meeting is for you if:

  • You live with PMDD (diagnosed or self-identified)
  • You want to influence the development of future PMDD support/services
  • You’re curious about what PMDD Northwest could become
  • You’d like to connect with other women who understand PMDD
  • You want a safe, respectful space where your experiences are taken seriously

What to expect:

  • A relaxed, supportive group environment
  • Guided discussion around needs, expectations, and gaps in current support
  • Opportunities to share ideas, frustrations, and hopes
  • No sales, no treatment promises, and no formal programme being launched

This meeting is about listening first — to build something that is genuinely useful, accessible, and rooted in real lived experience.

Whether you come to speak, listen, or simply sit in a room where PMDD doesn’t need explaining, you are welcome.

** Please note - This is NOT a diagnostic service and may include some content which can be triggering ie Suicide, Self Harm **
